We’re followers of a man who claimed to be the Truth, so our faith is primarily faith in a person. This is about more than just assent to abstract facts, this is about having a living relationship with God.

One extraordinary claim of the Christian faith is that truth can be known because Truth Himself has chosen to come to earth to reveal Himself. This one sure source of ultimate truth continues to reveal Himself through His Spirit to anyone who honestly seeks.

We believe the bible

We believe it is the good, sure and true word of God. As His word it holds authority. We seek to interpret and apply the bible’s truths faithfully and wisely in our time.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

- 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe the creeds

We uphold the historic creeds of the Christian faith: the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed.

While we’re evangelical with a charismatic emphasis, we seek to respect and learn from the breadth and depth of truly Christian faith throughout the centuries.

We worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity.

- Athanasian Creed

We believe the gospel

Have you heard the news?

It’s extremely good news: Jesus’ death and resurrection broke the power of death and cleared the way for our forgiveness and reconciliation. He is now ushering in the reign of God’s good kingdom to earth and the renewal of all things.

The name ‘Christian’ originally meant “little Christ”. As we believe and live in this very good news God changes us from the inside out. We become new.

I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes

- Romans 1:16

We believe God intends church to feel like family

Church should be warm and welcoming. It should be real. It should be deep. It should be a place we know we’re loved enough to show our true colours.

Church should be a family that looks like its Father.

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

- Romans 12:10-13

We believe we are God’s ambassadors

We have a mission, an adventure, a job to do and a race to run. God is at work reconciling all things to Himself and He’s given us the job of inviting the whole world to repent, receive and become His sons and daughters with us.

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

- 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
